Lady Bonin’s Tea is a boutique South African organic tea company based in Cape Town, South Africa. Famous for sourcing, blending, and distributing the finest sustainable, sustainably wild, carbon neutral and biodiverse teas.
Jessica Bonin (Owner), commissioned KNOWN to create a brand new WordPress (WooCommerce) e-commerce website that is not only an expression of her passion for all things tea but also ultimately will become the ‘Wikipedia of Tea’. Now you can buy your favourite tea online!
Project Overview
With help of our partner SEO and SEM experts at Rufus Blue. The process began with an SEO audit of the old website to obtain Google Analytics data based on a history of real keywords and key-phrases that users search to find Tea online. The results are used to optimise the new website Information Architecture and content structure (site mapping) to featured image and text content on individual pages, to ensure that the new site is user friendly and content is accessible to Google for increased domain and page authority and improved rankings within search engines.

Site Overview
Features include bespoke icon design (each representing a unique tea category filter), WordPress Content Management System with WooCommerce (Shop) integration, Blog and Vlog posts with embedded YouTube video content, various call-to-action buttons, Mailchimp newsletter subscription (database collection) and SEO optimised footer for ease of navigation.
