Our priority was to create a visual, impactful and engaging site with a fully optimised and seamless user journey with a display that adapts across all devices effortlessly. The appearance of the website is contemporary and fresh in its execution, matching the brand guidelines and page wireframes that draw the visitors attention to the luxury aspect and allowing them to interact with the site to view what grabs their attention most.
The look & feel incorporates the bright, colourful African prints and image content paired beautifully with the black and white text content for an overall clean layout on each page.
Our team created the bespoke design in Adobe Illustrator, which included large eye-catching images, modern and clean layout along with simple navigation and optimised for mobile display.
We developed the front-end (User Interface) from scratch and integrated into WordPress for the back-end Content Management System (CMS).
Each feature African Designer has a dedicated profile page including an image gallery to display their products with maximum impact. The CMS allows our client to manage and update their own website content with ease (We include CMS training with all our projects).
The customised website design and development includes:
A searchable product catalogue.
Mobile optimised website design and web development.
Customised enquiry form (Including required fields).
Custom hover effects.
Mailchimp newsletter signup form.
We created a beautiful and user-friendly website which has attracted more customers to the site as a result of the improved visual appearance and mobile optimised display. The new website better represents the company’s bold African prints and portrays the high-end luxury appeal of the brand to Merchants on Long’s target demographic.
